Barbara Isenberg

Barbara Isenberg is an award winning journalist who has been writing and lecturing about theater for over three decades. Her most recent book is Tradition! The Highly Improbable, Ultimately Triumphant Broadway-to-Hollywood Story of Fiddler on the Roof, the World’s Most Beloved Musical. She is also the author of Making It Big: The Diary of a Broadway Musical, State of the Arts: California Artists Talk About Their Work and Conversations with Frank Gehry. Her work has appeared in the LA Times, the Wall Street Journal, Time, Esquire, The Huffington Post, and London’s Sunday Times. She lives in Los Angeles.

Betsy Israel is a journalist and former editor who has contributed to the New York Times, Elle, Rolling Stone, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Redbook, People, Mademoiselle, Vogue, New York, Spin, Playboy, and the Los Angeles Times, among many others. She has written numerous screenplays and is the author of two nonfiction books, Bachelor Girl, a history of living single, and a memoir Grown-Up Fast: A True Story of Teenage Life in Suburban America.
