Erica Easley

A graduate of Columbia and former J. Walter Thompson copywriter, Erica Easley is the co-author (with Ed Chalfa) and photographer of Rock Tease: The Golden Years of Rock T-shirts, the world’s first book about vintage rock T-shirts. Along with being an authority on rock tees, Erica is an avid collector of vintage street wear and albums, and a clothing buyer for the West Coast’s largest clothing exchange, The Red Light, in Portland, OR. Erica lives in Los Angeles. 

Jack Finney

Jack Finney (1911-1995) was born in Milwaukee and grew up in Chicago. He worked as a copywriter for various advertising agencies in New York City before embarking on a career as a novelist. He authored (Invasion of) The Body Snatchers, Five Against the House, Assault on a Queen, The House of Numbers, Good Neighbor Sam, Marion’s Wall, all of which have been made into movies, as well as the classic Time And Again and its sequel From Time to Time, The Woodrow Wilson Dime and The Night People. He also wrote numerous short stories and the non-fiction collection Forgotten News.

Peter Freuchen

Peter Freuchen (1886-1957) was a Danish explorer, journalist, magazine editor, lecturer and traveler. He published his first novel, The Great Hunter¸ in 1927, and followed it with several books of fiction and nonfiction which were widely translated. Freuchen helped write the script and played the part of the villain in the 1933 MGM movie Eskimo, which was based on his novel of the same name. In 1965, Freuchen won the television game “The $64,000 Question” by using his knowledge of the world’s oceans.
